The Allman Brothers Band - The Allman Brothers Band

These guys can play some fucking music. fuck... shit.... tabasco... tarantula... tommy hilfiger... toledo... when can I see a mirandanese growth of pomo. abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz. i hope your face is comfortable. the harmonizing on black hearted woman is worth it enough. and gregg allman's voice is better than me doing your mom.

come from a downturned situation. i see where your lies lead. i am your god. eat marshmallows.

Skitsystem - Enkel Resa Till Rännstenen

Best fucking crust you're ears will ever bleed to. The production is like a sledgehammer, and in that I often think of this as a borderline metal album. The instruments aren't lacking at all, each one is powerful and well played.

Look at these guys... I'm pretty sure they drink as many forties as humanly possible and then play some hellacious fucking hardcore.

I now consider them one of my top 5 bands. Listen or live a life void of good music...

Scientist - Rids the World of the Evil Curse of the Vampires

This dude saves the entire world with dub. Beat that shit. Yet another album where the bass frequencies just cleanse the soul. Which is obviously how Scientist is able to rid the curse.

Music soothes even the savage beast dude.

RYM

Cropple-pot lamenting its ending day. To home with it you foul, foul knaves.

Corrupted - El Mundo Frio

A 71 minute track of pure aural bliss. The slow build-up to a relentless sludgefuck. Fuck catharsis through zazen, I'd rather cleanse myself with these assaulting bass frequencies. Not much else to say except it should definitely be listened to. Just imagine the world slowly dying and Corrupted putting it to music, but much shorter.... except the fact that most music doesn't reach past 5 minutes, so in comparison it works. Frugal hubcap.

Update: Listening to it again, right now. Fuck...
Update2: Holy shit...

John Lee Hooker - The Legendary Modern Recordings 1948-1954

"I have heartaches, I have blues. No matter what you got, the blues is there. 'Cause that's all I know - the blues. And I can sing the blues so deep until you can have this room full of money and I can give you the blues." Amen to that shit. This mother fucker delivers nothing but the most low down, dirty, and soulful blues. This man's blues is heavier than a death in the family.

Catharsis - Passion

Just listened to this for the first time. Not many intricate details to go into quite yet. All I can say now is the album is superbly written and brutal as fuck.

Satyricon - Dark Medieval Times

Still, after all these years, one of my favorite black metal albums. Frost has an unbelievably recognizable blast beat, and it's a fast one. Satyr is a fucking master of black metal interludes. The ultimate perfection of acoustic guitar and piccolo. And besides that just some legit cold, raw riffs. One just imagines a scene where the unholy tyrants ride through the woods cleaving and decapitating wretched Christian scum. Their blood stains the earth red reminding those who worship their Abrahamic gods that they are not welcome. These doers of noble deeds ride their hellish steeds into the foreboding castle where they contemplate love, proper animal treatment, and parcheesi. For in these days of late the plague of lies has grown evermore contaminable. The true dark medieval times...

Camping can be fun if you know how to live without Martin Luther. Ten people can't see a motor home with its lights on.

Bohren & der Club of Gore - Black Earth

Slower than death itself. What a haunting mood brought on by the expressive saxophone and the chilling mellotron. These guys must be on some killer downers to keep this slow of a beat. I might upload the previous album Sunset Mission later. I want to be a macho man...

In this box there are more lives than you can count. The truth in your eyes only allows the understanding of one. So smoke your life's last cigarette in contemplation of satori.

Arcanum Soundtrack

Composed by Ben Houge, this string quartet soundtrack adds an atmospheric and ofttimes haunting background to a game set in a pseudo-Victorian setting.

Fushitsusha - PSF 3/4

Well now, the pure fucking awesomeness of Keiji Haino is nearly ungrokkable. Noisy, sleazy Japanese psychedelic rock. Amidst what seems to be some of the most atonal guitar screeches and wails, there truly is musical genius behind this man's noodlings. He definitely takes a page right out of the Les Rallizes Dénudés , but does it with tact. It must be realized also, that one can't just hit random notes and hope for the best. There truly is an overall structure and genius to this man's music. Odd, but so true to the music.

"Life itself is only a vision, a dream. Nothing exists save empty space..and you, and you..are but a thought."
-The Adventures of Mark Twain

Hala Strana - Fielding

Surreal, as if I were to find that strange noir films were actually built around a musical score without its actual inclusion. At times I'd almost call the music an organ grinder from hell, but at the same time the dream-like qualities make it more mysterious than hellish. The odd, unheard of instruments only add to its overall alien aura. Yet, at the same time it feels more than alien, almost... human.

Napkins on my lap. Why are they there? Because it could be no other way.

Layer Cake Soundtrack

Basically just a badass soundtrack to a badass movie.
Directed by Matthew Vaughn, producer on Lock Stock and Snatch, in the same British crime drama vein. My personal favorite of the three.
